I believe life is about learning how to live and how to die or, otherwise put: how to truly live in spite of the fact that we’re all going to die. How do you make a meaningful life out of the days and circumstances given to you? What is the right thing do to? When do you feel “alive”"? What is your responsibility to the world? What is the world’s responsibility to you? These kinds of questions I always find intriguing to ask others and myself. Being a minister I live in a context of interpreting life through the passion of Christ – that is, in the story of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, I see a pattern through which I try to creatively understand and make death meaningful in life. Truth however, I believe, will always turn up where I least expect it to. My tweets usually have a somewhat pondering character or are just for fun – sometimes a bit silly.”

Just thinkin, for this being a totally new type of project, there are quite a lot of experts out there knowing how this should be done!

@Sweden January 15, 2012 17:09

The best dance aerobics class in the city, if you ask me, was cancelled. So I’m reversing the exercise (having coffee and biscotti).

@Sweden January 15, 2012 16:52

Of course there are a few other tall buildings in Stockholm, but not many; e.g.the TV-tower, Kaknäs, 155 m, Victoria Tower in Kista, 120 m.

@Sweden January 15, 2012 10:50

Still there is suffering around us. I have no other answer to that than: be compassionate, be helpful, make good choices yourself.

@Sweden January 15, 2012 00:28

> revealed that there is a connection between the high rate of suicides among teenagers and lack of spritual/existential development.

@Sweden January 15, 2012 00:27

@Sweden January 15, 2012 00:26

Don’t mind the contemplation. I know some of you are critical about the religious thing, but taken from what I’ve heard this weekend >

@Sweden January 14, 2012 18:10

If you ever come to Stockholm, if a fan of organ music, you should really listen to organist Mattias Wager. When he plays it’s rock’n roll!

@Sweden January 14, 2012 11:23

At another seminar. Wise things are being said. But at the moment I’m admiring the building where we are. Grateful for skilled constructors.

@Sweden January 14, 2012 10:18

Went to bed with wet hair. Looking very funny at the moment after a night’s sleep. Playing with the thought to keep it like that for today.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 22:18

This is the tower of the Cathedral of Stockholm. I used to work there during holidays. Maybe I guided some of you up to the top? :)

@Sweden January 13, 2012 15:29

The workshop leader refers to •27, not •6, as I mentioned earlier. But in fact it’s already there in the •6, according to the handbook.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 15:12

The archbishop of Church of Sweden has been very clear about that he wishes the Children’s Convention to be implemented in Swe secular law.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 15:07

Now I’m at a workshop about the child’s right to spiritual development. Taken from the Children’s Convention article 6, among others.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 13:29

If you’re interested in reading Rev Hammar’s dissertation on the baptism you can google on her name and the Swe word “dop”.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 13:26

First seminar completed. Rev. and PhD Anna-Karin Hammar spoke of what it is to be human and what it is to be Christian. Very inspiring!

@Sweden January 13, 2012 12:05

I’m at a church conf about the baptism. It all started with a service that began in darkness and ended in the beauty of water and light.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 10:25

Overslept. The volume of the alarm clock was too low. Dreamt crazy dreams. Have to be somewhere at ten. In a hurry. Morning psychedelia.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 02:44

I work with children and try to develop an encouraging environment for them more than a moralistic one. The good in us needs watering.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 02:31

I’m also challenged by the fact that so many people consider themselves as spiritual but not religious. I find it very interesting.

@Sweden January 13, 2012 02:21

But, in some regions of Sweden it’s harder than in others to be female priest. Also, as for women in general, we have to be way “better” >

@Sweden January 13, 2012 01:48

Still moved by the fact that several people must have made the right choice today passing my front door with the keys left in the key hole.

@Sweden January 12, 2012 23:39

Tomorrow I will take you to some kind of water festival, I would say, and hopefully let you meet a very brave woman. Nighty, chaps!

@Sweden January 12, 2012 22:43

Well, some of you want pics, others not so many pics, some of you want political statements, others to be amused. Good night, you adorable!

@Sweden January 12, 2012 20:19

A friend of mine says that I’ve reached the “looking-for-age”. I’m always looking for something: glasses, keys, calendar….

@Sweden January 12, 2012 16:49

These are the best ABBA-lines I know: “I’m nothing special, in fact I’m a bit of a bore. If I tell a joke, you’ve probably heard it before.”

@Sweden January 12, 2012 12:41

Opening church press and as always when reading that my mind starts to debate. Won’t bother you with the topics of today though.

@Sweden January 12, 2012 11:19

A grey day today. Grey is not that bad. It’s easier to focus (for me). And since I got hold of a pair of galoshes, my feet are always dry.

@Sweden January 11, 2012 23:39

Good night, World! I’m retiring into emptiness and awareness. Sending blessings to any of you who wishes to receive them.

@Sweden January 11, 2012 21:46

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (movie) seems to be a total hit in Sweden. I have to see it again, was completely absorbed by the scenery.

@Sweden January 11, 2012 01:11

Just wish to say, to me personnally I’m more into the wild nature and sea than shopping and such. The trip I’m on is an HR-thing.

@Sweden January 10, 2012 23:09

Of course it’s awesome to be on a big boat, but you hardly feel it move and almost forget being on the ocean. Yet the ocean is the thing!

@Sweden January 10, 2012 19:07

Stretching out in the cabin. Letting toes out of boots, putting away the official me for a while, enjoying like a child to be on a ship!

@Sweden January 10, 2012 18:15

Phu, meeting’s over. Soon we will board the Birka Paradise ship to have dinner and socialize. Probably I will end up at the dance floor.

@Sweden January 10, 2012 16:26

I listen to lots of music & techno isn’t on the top of my personal list, but it’s beautiful to see the kids dance & sing of love and peace.

@Sweden January 10, 2012 09:32

Waking up. Reading the morning paper. There’s a debate going on about whether artists and people in showbiz “must” be politically left-wing.

@Sweden January 10, 2012 01:40

FYI: Sheep has a certain Biblical reference. Sorry! The silly side of me. Love silliness. Particularly the English. Nighty!

@Sweden January 9, 2012 22:18

Being grateful is a good way to end your day. Not in a repressive way, more like a celebration. To life. To the living.

@Sweden January 9, 2012 20:48

Well, back from danceaerobics. Exhausted. First class since Nov. Staring in front of me. Looking pretty red! Wondering what to do next. :)

@Sweden January 9, 2012 18:41

People, don’t worry, I won’ t tweet as much as today the rest of the week. Today is about getting into it, into a new channel. Relax!

@Sweden January 9, 2012 18:26

In June, July and August many Swedes have their vacation, or part of their vacation, so after the summer holidays we begin a new life. ;)

@Sweden January 9, 2012 15:44

So what do the Swedes have for lunch? Don’t know. This one however is having green pea soup with horseradish. Beautiful, simple and tasty!

When I work with different kinds of speaches and social concepts, I like being at Gilda’s for example, and see actual people all around.

@Sweden January 9, 2012 14:26

I don’t always tweet this frequent. When I have services, meetings and such I of course don’t have the time and cannot say much at all.

I don’t get why I don’t sort the different garbage at home. Instead I run back and forth between the different containers.

@Sweden January 9, 2012 11:37

Note: I don’t get along with the “auto correct” of my cell phone very well and loose a word or two here and there.

@Sweden January 9, 2012 11:34

Before noon I intend to write a memo about in what way me and my colleagues wish to work with the Children’s Convention (UNICEF).

@Sweden January 9, 2012 11:32

At the end of the week I go to a festival of the diocese. Will tell you more about that later. So I have no services this week in church.

@Sweden January 9, 2012 11:15

The things I show you root from an inner urge to “show the world”, and that could be a friend, a stranger or you. I love living here.

@Sweden January 9, 2012 10:52

On Wednesday I will show you some of the beautiful archipelago of Stockholm and at the end of the week I’ll be at some kind of festival.

@Sweden January 9, 2012 10:44

I certainly hope that there’ll be more hosts on this account living in Stockholm, because I won’t be able to show you more than some sides.

@Sweden January 9, 2012 10:41

But of course it will be slightly different as I have the honour to show you a little of the capital of Sweden: Stockholm.
