Marcin de Kaminski

was @sweden 2012-04-16 to 2012-04-22

Quite happy with my life, actually. Living the dream with my wife and our five kids in the small town of Ljungsbro outside of Linköping, best known for its chocolate factory and the famous Göta Kanal. I am a doctoral candidate at the Department of Sociology of Law at Lund University where my research focus on trying to identify, analyze and compare clashes between net- and afk norms. On the side I am also deeply involved in different kinds of Internet politics, ranging from hands-on net activism to Internet freedom related policy work. Read more about me at and follow @dekaminski to stay in touch. I love connectivity, so please feel free to ping me!

@sweden April 16, 2012, 6:09 p.m.

More seriously, to be a doctoral student on Sweden is really beneficial. Lots of work, yes, but good conditions.

@sweden April 16, 2012, 6:08 p.m.

Please note. To be a doctoral student in Sweden means you occasionally get free wine and cheese.

Strategy is to add sugar and something that looks and smells like milk, but isnt really even close to it. Then its manageable. But not good.
