Susanne Nilsson

was @sweden 2014-06-23 to 2014-06-30

My name is Susanne Nilsson and I´m soon to be half a century old. I live in the south of Sweden with my husband and a cat called Rambo. Even though we live in the countryside, we’re close to several cities. It´s only 65 kilometers to Denmark’s capital Copenhagen, but 652 km to our own capital Stockholm from where I live.

I’m born and raised in Mariehamn on Åland (Finland), but have lived in Sweden more than half my life now. I have both Swedish and Finish citizenship.

I work as an infomaster at the municipality of Trelleborg web site. An infomaster works more with content than does a webmaster, the latter more oriented towards technology. However, as we don´t have a webmaster I do both those things. I also work with our Citizens' Forum and with social media.

I should warn you, my feed will contain lots of photos as photography is a big interest of mine, (amateur level). I love being out in nature photographing. I find it very relaxing and energizing. Known to be particularly fond of sunrises and sunsets, I’ve been called Sunset Susan more than once, I´m looking forward to show you a little bit of this beautiful country.

I am @Infomastern on Twitter and Instagram and use the same nickname on Flickr, Pinterest and other social media outlets. You can find all of them here

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:56 a.m.">@lakaroka Sorry. The swedish weather could do a whole lot better at this moment.

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:55 a.m.">@tankefel">@leoerlandsson When we bought it, there was no good alternatives. WP for example came later.

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:54 a.m.">@leoerlandsson">@tankefel I guess different needs require different tools.

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:52 a.m.

Love being outdoors photographing so I´m going to show you some places and views that I enjoy here in the in southernmost Sweden.

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:51 a.m.">@tankefel">@leoerlandsson Well, we are a municipality. ;)

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:49 a.m.

Must warn you for lots of photos in the Twitter stream during the week as photography is a big interest of mine. Only a happy amateur.

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:48 a.m.">@tankefel">@leoerlandsson We have had it since 2000 and it works well for us.

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:47 a.m.">@PacketNetworks Here they say that road 101 does divide Sweden in two equal parts. ;)

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:36 a.m.

However we don´t have a webmaster so I do both.

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:36 a.m.

If you compare an infomaster with a webmaster, an infomaster works more with content and a webmaster with technology.

@sweden June 23, 2014, 9:35 a.m.

I work as Infomaster at the municipality of Trelleborg, Sweden's southernmost municipality.
